Master Scuba Diver

[Note: While almost every training organization offers some form of Master Scuba Diver certification, requirements can vary widely from one agency to the next. For most, the Master Diver rating is something divers acquire by taking Advanced, Rescue and a variety of Specialty Diver courses. For others (most notably NAUI), it is a specific course divers take. The following paragraphs will work for most stores. If they work for you, modify them as needed, then delete all of the Who/What/Where/When info below them. If, on the other hand, you teach a separate Master Diver course, replace these paragraphs with ones that better describe your program, then modify the Who/What/Where/When info as needed.]

The Master Scuba Diver certification is the highest non-leadership rating in recreational diving. It is not a course you take, but rather a certification achieved by:

• Obtaining your Advanced and Rescue Diver certifications.
