When Can You Start?

Dive World’s beginning scuba courses are available in the following formats:

• One-Weekend Courses.
• Tuesday/Thursday, Weeknight Courses.
• Private Courses.

One Weekend Courses

Classes take place at the following places and times:

• Classroom sessions take place Friday evening from 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm. At classroom sessions are held at Dive World

• Pool sessions take place Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the East Ridegmont High School pool.

• Local open-water training dives take place the following Saturday and Sunday, from 8:00 am until approximately 1:00 pm, at Lake Johnson (May through September) or the Florida springs (October through April).

Tuesday/Thursday, Weeknight Courses

Classes take place at the following places and times:

• Classroom sessions take place Tuesday evenings for three weeks, from 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm, at Dive World.

• Pool sessions take place Thursday evenings for three weeks, from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm, at the Calhoun Community Center pool.

• Local open-water training dives take place Saturday and Sunday, from 8:00 am until approximately 1:00 pm, at Lake Johnson (May through September) or the Florida springs (October through April). Students may choose from any of our upcoming open-water training weekends, following the last pool session.

Starting dates include:

• March 16, 2010
• May 11, 2010
• June 8, 2010
• July 20, 2010
• September 21, 2010

Private Courses

If neither of our regularly scheduled course formats meets you needs, there is a good possibility we may be able to arrange for private instruction on a one-on-one basis with our instructors. Contact us for more information.
